The Persian Qanats, ancient underground aqueduct systems that have provided irrigation water to arid regions in Iran for over 3000 years, are recognized as a vital element of the country’s cultural heritage. Eleven these impressive structures been included on UNESCO World Heritage List, underlining their cultural, social, political, and physical significance. As heritage sites offer unique opportunity fostering territorial collaboration social capital between tourists local community, it is important develop comprehensive model influence behavior tourists, officials, natives treatment invaluable sites. This study aimed design sustainable tourism management Qanats listed properties. research employed theme analysis approach, utilizing statistical sample 22 base managers Qanat experts. used content thematic guarantees protection valuable by shaping natives. proposed serves guideline effective management, leading preservation significant future generations.
